A president of the Broward County CCA, Pasta organized an event at Outdoor World in Dania to benefit the CCA. Johnsonville Brats set up the world's largest outdoor grill and donated their famous brats which were served by CCA volunteers to raise over $5000 for the CCA. Pasta (shown above left) and other CCA volunteers also raised awareness of CCA's mission and recruited new members at the event.
At the grand opening of Redbone Gallery's new home in the famous Green Turtle Inn building, Pasta sold two original paintings, including this one to Marian of Islamorada.
2006 CCA Banquet at IGFA Museum and Hall of Fame
Pasta Pantaleo is President of the Broward Chapter CCA and was the guest speaker at the 2006 CCA fundraiser held at the IGFA Museum and Hall of Fame. Pasta is currently the CCA Artist of the Year and he donated the original painting, "Cleared for Landing" to benefit the CCA. All attendees of the fundraising banquet received a signed limited edition print of this painting.
CCA Florida is a statewide, nonprofit marine conservation organization working in an advocacy role to protect the state's marine resources and the interests of saltwater anglers. Comprised of 28 local chapters from Pensacola to Key West, they support strong, resource-based law enforcement, access to the resource for recreational fishing, and strong and fairly-balanced fishery regulations to protect state and federal fish stocks. CCA Florida is one of 19 state chapters of the Coastal Conservation Association. Pasta Pantaleo is the 2006 - 2007 President of the Broward Chapter.
