Pasta was chosen to design the poster art for the Florida Keys for Katrina Relief Concert featuring Bo Didley. The commemorative poster was used in the fundraising effort to benefit Katrina victims.
Ironically the concert date on the poster is printed as October 23, 2005. Hurricane Wilma swept through the Keys on that date and flooded the concert venue.
Despite the economic damage suffered by the Keys and its residents at the hand of Hurricane Wilma, the concert took place in January and raised over $60,000 that was donated to the town of Ocean Springs, MI. |
